Guest guest
I used to have no trouble going to the bathroom, but since starting the diet, I have. I have to, but can't. Has anyone else had this problem or can recommened a solution? I've tried prunes & sometimes even try flax seeds, but nothing helps. I feel very ill because I can't. I even tried chocolate just to irritate my digestion enough to push things along, but it didn't help. I do eat apples, bananas, veggie/fruit bars, an ounce of raw pumpkin seeds, mixed vegtable meals & 2-5 ounces of fish a day. This diet is great otherwise, no more stomachaches & after a few days of feeling ill in a weird horrible icky way, I now feel great. My energy returned, I can exercise again, my brain is working better, I am so happy I have the energy to go out again, etc. Just the inability to move things out of my digestion system is the only problem. The only thing that helps sometimes is bouncing my knees which bounces rest of my body like being on a train/bus which is a Gi Gong move to " awaken " the energy meridians of the body. But that does not seem good that that is the only way.
Guest guest
It seems like Elaine was concerned about fiber in the beginning of the diet. I did a quick search of her posts on lyris and here were three that she answered. Katy LyndaI hope you are not using the pulp if you are just starting SCD. We want itout because too much fiber can aggravate intestinal conditions. The layer of tissue under the skin of most plants contains lots of nutrientsbut we have priorities here and one priority is to keep fiber content downat the beginning of the diet. Some bacteria live on the cellulose in fiberand altho we get cellulose from our fruits and vegetables (without skin) wedon't want the extra cellulose in the skin. ____________________________________________________________ personals for adultsFind Personals for adults online.
