Guest guest
I had a breast augmentation done aug 2000 when i was 20 yrs old & everything was fine & dandy back then. I never had ANY health problems. I never used to feel as horrible as I do now. About 4 yrs after getting my saline implants(that have a outer silicone shell) I developed a very large(Lg orange sized)brownish red rash on my inner thigh that never went away & flared up w small red specks often. I did'nt really think anything of it until 2yrs(2006) later it still was on my thigh, so I thought maybe I should have a biopsy done. That biopsy came back stating that I had capallaritis. So for the next year and a half I thought that was what I had. All the Dr.s at the Army hospital insisted that was what I was dealing with. But I was'nt happy with that so I demanded they allow me to see a civilian Dr. That was when I had a few more biopsys done & was then told that I in fact did not have capallaritis, I had LyP (Lymphomatoid Papulosis, which is an autoimmune disease)and NH CBCL (Non-Hodgkins Cutaneous B-Cell Lymphoma). The oncologist says that my B-cells have some where along the line, mutated, & that is what is causing my skin to develope rashes of all sizes that do not go away, cont to get worse and my self healing papules. They tell me it is very rare & there is no cure, only treatments. Well, I have tried numerous treatments, none of which helped. Whatever is doing this to my body is causing a wide array of symptoms (which I am told is caused by my CBCL) such as, fatigue somedays but not all, even when I have addequate sleep, sore/achey all over body pains(mostly occuring after waking in the morning & lasting several hours), severe depression due to this disease, pains in my wrists (or other joints)that lasts a week & then goes away or somewhere else, I don't gain wieght as easily as I used to, irritable, severe short term memory loss/brain fog which I have noticed worsened just this year. Its the wierdest thing, I'll be talking about something & then 5 seconds later I'll have to ask whom ever I'm talking to to remind me of what I was talking about, very embarrassing) I've convince myself that these aches, pains & memory problems are due to getting older (30yrs to be exact)or that its my disease. I've never noticed any pains in my breasts though. I'm just wondering if anyone has developed a rare autoimmune disease like Lyp or CBCL after getting breast implants. I just recently starting doing research to try to figure out if its the implants causing me so much pain in my life. I have a 3 yr old little boy & this summer I have felt worse than ever & have'nt left the house & I know that it is not fair to him but I'm just having a horrible time dealing w all of my symptoms. I have decided to have them explanted definitly within the next 2 or 3 months; just doing alot of research until then. When I started reading all of the info about implant poisoning 2 wks ago, I felt like I might have found an answer to some or most of my problems, but then the other side of me says, no , its not the implants, dont get your hopes up. This is a disease I will have to live with FOREVER. Oh, what a horrible thought! Problem is, my skin disease has recently spread to my face & hands & doctors were worried that it had turn into something more serious. But the 2 biopsies they took came back that is was the same as before, no progression. But something is definitly going on within my body that I cannot control & I was wondering if anyone has dealt with similar issues or has known someone who has!
