Guest guest
, I think many of the doctors have been misled into believing that implants can't cause the debilitating problems that we've experienced. They seem to have neglected to do any deeper research individually, and really, there is no incentive to do it when the manufacturer's provide their own " research " for all to see and the consensus is that implants are safe. It really takes special doctors to be astute enough to start putting two and two together. So, I hope that isn't too hard to swallow...basically I am saying that your hundreds of docs have been mediocre docs. America is full of them. In fact, going to doctors can be dangerous to your health! That has been shown through statistics! Sad, but true. Patty > > > > That's the exact show that made me discover my issue. Thank God. I actually had a panic attack when I watched it I wanted them out so bad then and there...but then realized everything happens at the right time for the right reason. I'm so sorry yours went on for so long. I've had symptoms for over 2 yrs but only debilitated for 2 1/2 months..mine being in 4 years total. Just me personally, I think all your damage can be reversed with proper detox. The body is amazing and when the 'intruders' are out it will go back to working properly as God intended it to. That's my belief My holistic doc knows so much about mold she was telling me how they are linking many cancers to mold exposure. So many of my symptoms lessened once I was taking detox supplements and I have my implants in still. But I know I won't feel normal or be in full working order til they're out. I have been very sick for the last 4 years. I have 58 symptoms that I have written down. My body is slowly shutting down. I most recently went to the Mayo Clinic and was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, and Central Sensitization Syndrome. By the grace of the good Lord I was bedridden on Monday & Tuesday and the good Lord just happend to help me put the TV channel on MTV, I saw a program on Saline Breast Implants making someone sick like me. I had checked into the possibility several years ago on the FDA website and checked with my Plastic Surgeon and the information that I received was that they were safe and could not be causing my health problems. This show described so many of the problems I was going through that it made me look further into this subject and now I believe this is the cause of what may be killing me. I'm in desperate need of information at this point. I want these things out of my body now and I need to know who is the best surgeon for this procedure. I'm willing to travel wherever I need to go to make sure I have the best results. My health is all that matters at this point. I live in Alabama. Does anyone know if you ever recover after having them in for so long? I'm so scared now that I know this is what's going on in my body. > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > >

Guest guest
I agree ...I've written personal letters to my doctors to update them on my progress of healing. I just need to know that I've spoken up and said my peace whether or not they read the letters or choose to believe what I have to say. As far as I'm concerned, they've been " educated " by my experience however they want to incorporate it...or NOT. It's up to them. Most of the time, I think the letter just goes into my medical file...but that's oK. At least my progress is documented correctly then!!!! Sometimes those medical records hold surprises in the form of a biased dr opinion, and they can be quite damaging. I like having my side of the story in my own words in there. Patty > > It might help if after being properly explanted more patients would return to those " uninformed " doctors from their past and show/tell them the truth. > I think the new labwork would speak volumes. > Unfortunately, after years of frustrating appointments eventually followed by an expensive explant, most patients are not interested in spending any more time, money, or effort toward educating the medical world. > I guess writing magazine articles and letters to newspaper editors is one avenue for a positive shift. Guidepost and Readers Digest publish personal sagas. > With the help of the computer, we can send specific doctors informative links. > Show up on the curb in front of the hotels hosting physician's conferences :-) > > I wish there were an easy answer... > > Hugs of support, > M. > (Who is thankful Saline Support helped me research...I chose NOT to have implants following bilateral mastectomies in 2007. Guest guest
Good for you. I hope, truly hope, it makes a positive impact. Good for you for trying. Hugs of support, M. > > Yes-i forgot to mention that too. I'm working on a letter to the kaiser doctors and specialists I saw. I have all my before bloodwork and am definitely going to take after bloodwork. Any thing significant should be education to help others. If I could help even one other sufferer I'd be happy, more, even better
