Guest guest
Cecilia, What a beautiful name you have! I forgot to mention that before. The mail does get overwhelming at times but you will get the hang of it. I used to belong to all three breathing lists but I have cut it down to Lifelift now. I just couldn't keep up with all of that and many were repeat messages. I'm sure you will do just fine. You can always e-mail me privately if you have any questions. Thanks, Michele
Guest guest
hi amy...allegra is probably ok as it is not extensively broken down by the liver...regards,r ... antihistamines currently available, ALLEGRA requires negligible liver metabolism. ... dose for patients with decreased kidney function is 60 mg, once daily. ... www.pslgroup.com/dg/9f42.htm - amykellog <amykellog@...> wrote: So hey all you guys; I spent literally 8 hours last night going through and reading every post from this group as early back as it would let me (since I am new to this group and wanted to find people's stories, etc). I think April was as early as it would let me go, but I think you've been around longer than that haven't you? Anyway, it was fascinating and so inspiring to see what has happened over only the last 6 months; As Dr. Dan said, the group has proliferated, the "hit" numbers are huge now, etc., and I agree with him and hope that there ARE creepy little spies watching us from the evil lab companies and possibly the boards, especially as we get so much closert to something BIG...Just reading the momentum and feeling the energy of the wave that you all have created with this group, I think they should be SCARED, and it doesn't surprise me that some of their websites are very recently changing and even dissappearing! (that is hilarious...). Yes, I will sit patiently and wait for it all to come crashng down, but am I ever looking forward to it! I also feel like the next time Maximus calls me with another + or other issue, I'm just gonna slip and tell them to "f*cki*g blow me," as I feel a LITTLE more protected now. Don't get me wrong, I am not naive, I know that this is in no way over, but I do know that we are better off now than we ever were...(And do you have any idea how long I've wanted to say that to my "charming, ever-so-competent" CM?)BTW, thanks for all the recent discussion on the OTC meds, etc., I'm thinking that maybe my last + (level 270) had something to do with the combo of taking "allegra" (for my horrible hayfever, only take it like for one week out of the year), and then maybe inhaling the same amt of etoh fumes at work that I usually do, hence being a little "enzyme induced" that day. Does someone know anything about allegra? (obviously the plain one, w/o sudafed in it). And thanks to you guys I certainly will NEVER take anything with tylenol in it ever again.Oh, and Madison, I think you are positively brilliant.Amy
Guest guest
--- Thank you Amy. It's hard to be the voice of reason in an insane society. It's a burden to always be right. But I carry on. I believe you when you say you didn't drink. Maybe the cold medicine had something to do with it. But believe me, it would work better if you used the one with sudafed. Actually, sudafed is a wonderful drug. Mofo's have it in lock down now though. Bunch of assholes. Guest guest
Can you explain to me when it's OK to get cought up or not get caught up in what you ingest??? Does anyone have an answer as to what is safe or not safe?? My Gosh remember that this test has NEVER been validated, and the people intrepeting it are social workers!! It blows my mind how much information WE can come up with and these dingbats are still calling EtG the " gold standard " of alchol ingestion > So hey all you guys; I spent literally 8 hours last night going through and reading every > post from this group as early back as it would let me (since I am new to this group and > wanted to find people's stories, etc). Guest guest
HI Everyone, I just wanted to apologize for those who have written me privately and may have been waiting for a response. I got really behind on emails with being out of town and with my schedule out of whack. It always makes me sad to realize that there are so many women out there in America suffering with poor health and not finding any answers as to why, because the doctors are so often not asking the right questions about the implants as a source of their disease process. They have already decided that implants are safe, and that leaves everyone working with faulty information from the beginning. And sometimes, it is just a matter of not wanting to be brave. Let's face it: Doctors have to keep their businesses running, and saying that implants cause disease is not politically correct. They probably won't say it if they don't have to. I always keep this in mind: We were born without implants, and therefore, the best state of health would be without implants. Can the implants contribute anything positive at all to a sick body? NO. They can only contribute further burdens. There is nothing medically therapeutic, biologically necessary, nor supplementally helpful about the presence of implants in an ill body. To the contrary, implants cause stress by the presence of what the body sees as a foreign invader, can be a cesspool of stagnant pathological organism-filled water; can leach chemicals that cause neurological manifestations, can wreak havoc with a finely tuned hormonal orchestra, and cause chronic inflammation resulting in painful joints and tissues...that is just a start of what implants have done to women and even men, who have had any type of silicone medical device. Over the years, people have reacted to not only silicone breast implants, but silicone penile implants, testicular implants, Norplant contraceptive device, silicone lapbands, joint and knee replacements, shunts, cheek implants, butt implants, you name it....the list is long. Silicone is used in a wide range of medical devices and where ever you find silicone, you find that there are side effects consistent with what we've experienced. I just hope and pray that we will continue to be able to reach women and men who need to know that they are not alone in their suffering. I will try to keep up with the emails. I hope that you all will continue to speak up as well. Our little group is just that...a little group. But we can help each other one person at a time if we all just remember to make the effort to share what we know whenever we can. Thanks to all of you for being here and sharing from your heart! I wish you all well! Patty
