Guest guest
You're 8 weeks explant not months right? Either way. Do u get winded easily? I've been having that problem a LOT lately. Like I just can't catch my breath. And it doesn't help that my heart palpitations haven't stopped since july. I wonder if its the whole, there's not enough oxygen in our blood issue. I've read that in a few implant illness articles. I'm so sorry katie! Did they give u an inhaler? Bev Sent via BlackBerry by AT & T asthma..uhhg!! Hi ladies, So, for the last couple weeks my chest was really tight. It got to the point I couldn't breath. I had to go the the doctor. It was that serious. I don't have any heart problems and was diagnosed with asthma. Asthma does run in my family but I never had any problems until now (33 yrs old). I was soo sure the tightness was caused from my implants (I'm 8 months post-explant). I'm worried though. The medicine is helping me breath but I'm having a hard time figuring out where the achiness is coming from...my chest or my lungs or is the inflamation from my chest spreading to my lungs. I don't know. Does anyone on here have asthma. I'm so worried the medicine is going to stop working because I may not have it (asthma). They did diagnose me but I don't believe any doctor anymore. If the medicine stops working, I'm in big trouble! Just another thing to worry about!! ------------------------------------
Guest guest
My Dear : Many women developed Asthma after having breast implants. I am so sorry that you are having more problems. I have Asthma, and I have never smoked; in the research that I have read Asthma can be caused from the implants. My Asthma is so much better, and I have not had to use the nebulizer for some time. Honey, it will take time for your Asthma to get better, and you must see a respiratory specialist. Chestwall pain is common among many of us, but eventually it will go away. Stay close and no stress if you can avoid it...love always...Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``` asthma..uhhg!! Guest guest
Hi Bev, yes, 8 weeks, oops=(. Yes, they gave me an inhaler, it's helping me get through the day. The maintnance medication is discusting and it makes me irritable (just what I needed) but I have to use it. I haven't been able to breath right since my pregnancy (thought was due to pregnancy) started and after the baby came, It kept getting worse and worse to the point I couldn't walk across the street without feeling like I was going to completely run out of air. I'm soo sorry you still have palpitations, mine luckily stopped after explant but I still have many issues: body pain, plugged ears, chest tightness, and now asthma. Ya know, that list is shorter than it was before. How have you been feeling? Are you going to be able to get the capsules out soon? Guest guest
Hi , I was dxed with Asthma a few years after my implants were put it. After getting them out I was still on asthma meds, but as I started getting into natural medicine, I got off of all my asthma medications. I take supplements like stinging nettle and quercetin with C, some people take bromelain. I use a product: Ortho Molecular Products D-Hist.. which is expensive but I like it. There are tons of supps to help with breathing. I also aviod the foods that trigger the attacks. I had become very food sensitive from the implants.. I had my first asthma attack while eating in a restaurant. I started to get allergy shots .. but the only ones that helped were done by environmental docs without the preservatives and additives that I was reacting to in the other shots. Have you had any blood work tests for allergies like the http://www.rapidtest.com/index.php?product=Food-ELISA-test-kits & cat=104 & gclid=CMf1jLjGmaUCFbJa7AodKHN4HQ That's just one example . but you need allergy testing... so you can avoid triggers.and you need a good detox and immune system build up protocol. Do you work with a holistic or doctor that practices natural medicine because we all need that .. hope you feel better... Hugs, There would be nothing to frighten you if you refused to be afraid. Guest guest
Hi , Thank you for the info. Yes, I started to get allergy shots as soon as I had vertigo from the implants (they did the allergy testing). The docs thought my vertigo was all allergy related. I had allergies but they were never a problem until I had implants. I've been getting the shots or 2 years now. I did stop for awhile because of my 3 month old baby...there was just no time to get them. I started back up this week. I've been getting them for so long I doubt that's the reason for my asthma. Okay, so the Ortho Molecular D-Hist really works? My cupboard is getting pretty full of supplements and I don't know If they're helping...it's too soon to tell. I bought the supplies for a coffee enema too. I'm going to do my first one tomorrow. I'm going to see a TCM on Tuesday. I hope it goes well. I spent $175 on a naturopath that had a conversation on her cell phone with her daughter in the middle of our session. I didn't go back. It just didn't feel right. Hopefully the TCM will help. My asthma was weird...not like an attack. My breathing became harder and harder everyday for weeks until I just couldn't breath anymore. That's why I had a hard time distinguishing if it was asthma or implant related although everything seems to be implant related. Well, we'll see how it goes. Thanks again!! Guest guest
Dede, I feel bad that I can't be more support to others. I just really don't have the time with the baby and all. I just want you to know that from what I have read about you, you are an amazing, strong and positive person. You are always in my thoughts and prayers regardless if I say it or not. Thank you again for all your advice in the past. The food journal makes sense. I'm noticing that if I eat big meals in the morning or if I eat the same thing three days in a row, I get nausaus which really messes me up because I start work at 7 (don't have much time to plan a breakfast) and can't really eat again until noon. I'm just gonna have to sneak a snack in, hope my first graders don't mind. Eggs making a gal emotional...wow!! I will start my food diary today. Hugs back to ya, From: DGRAHAMA@...Date: Thu, 11 Nov 2010 16:32:59 -0500Subject: Re: asthma..uhhg!! You are welcome ! Guest guest
Hi , The D-Hist from Ortho Molecular products is what I take when I start having trouble breathing so it helps me. I will add extra Vitamin C and sometimes more quercetin to help. But the breathing issues for me really are so triggered by food allergies and also exposures to chemicals. It took a few years for me to build up to when I felt it was safe to wean off the asthma meds. Everyone is different so be careful... work with your doctor. In building up my immune system, detoxing and taking supplements to help with breathing and allergies got me there. My body just happens to work well with that product, so I wanted to mention it. The way you describe the breathing I could relate to. Like my doctors back then who called it "atypical asthma". Everything was "atypical" just because they didn't understand it. I'm glad you're into the natural medicine scene. I like the possibilities of CHM. I haven't tried it on myself, but I do use a couple of supplements for my cat. It's been an additional modality that's helped her. I know too what you mean about the supplements. Gets very costly and frustrating sometimes. Do you take detox stuff like L- Glutathione and NAC for example? It's all implant related no doubt because of it's devastation to the immune and lymphatic system just for starters. You have to stick with the protocols too. The supplements have to build up. I also was taking immune globulin ... which at one time I really feel helped me so much. Took 9 good months before I noticed it did anything. Telling you this so you have patience and don't give up on important supplements and treatments in the short term. Will be interested to hear about your CHM experience Hugs, There would be nothing to frighten you if you refused to be afraid.
