Guest guest
Suzie it is getting to me now..All this snow...The lady up stairs and her kids came down and helped shovel this afternoon. We just got about 10 inches or 25 centimeters, with more to come..It does help that we are on the corner and it is a large lot..It's like a snow valley out there..Shonise and Reese had a blast throwing snow at each other.. I saw some thing on PBS tv once about some one spray painting an ice berg..So it might work Suz..I have a bit of a sore thoart, so have been feeling kinda punk but will live..Sure don't want to go to the Doc with just a small cold, I always feel like I'm taking up time that could be for some one else..Kathy booo Winter Morning all, Winter is really starting to get to me. I looked out this morning & it didn't look like we'd gotten much snow - then I went out to shovel thinking "have this done in 5 minutes." WRONG There was at least five or six inches of the stuff. Got my walk shovelled but the old guy's walk is going to have to wait. I've got snow banks in my yard that are taller than I am which makes it very difficult to throw snow over it off of the sidewalk & I'll be damned if I'm going to do any more than I absolutely have to. Spyke likes to sit in the window & watch me work, the brat! Everything is white! I'm getting tired of white, really tired. Maybe I'll buy some spray paint & brighten it up. What do you think - maybe fushia or chartruse? If I took Spyke out today I wouldn't find him till spring, so he stays inside. Suzie Next time I'm coming back as a cat . Guest guest
We are in Ft. Wayne, IN and we got 6 inches of snow but prior to that we got several hours of freezing rain/sleet. Right now only two of the four major school corporations are closed. I can't believe the others are still on a delay as it is really slick out. I think we got more than other areas and it's usually the other way around for us. M. - Indiana Winter We got hit with about 7 inches of snow, with freezing rain a few hours before. I'm hoping for a snow day today! I didn't even set the alarm, as I figured we be off of school. But my personal alarm (Lyssa) was up at 3:30. We probably won't know till 6 if we have school or not. I almost bit it twice yesterday, once at Lys' school where I slid on black ice and came about 4 inches from hitting a tree. Then again last nite, while taking Lys to Target to meet with her dad. When I went to stop, I slid (freezing rain) and the car turned around completely so I was facing oncoming traffic. Thankfully I was far enough away from the traffic and I got away before they reached me. SCAREY! Lys was freaked, telling me to " slow down " " you're going too fast " the whole time after that. Guest guest
Hi Sandy.... Is it inflammation as in arthritis in your knees? We're famous for having inflammation all over our bodes in and out from what the implants did to our immune systems. Keep up the detoxing. Maybe the homeopathics for arthritis type pain will help if you tolerate them. We take supplements here like curcumin and boswellia. You might get help from supplements like glucosamine, condroitin and MSM that are standard for use with arthritis..as well as the others. The detoxing is very important also. There are a lot of supplements marketed for inflammation do you take any? The losses are very tough. Try not to think of them as forever, just for now as you work on your healing. Hugs, There would be nothing to frighten you if you refused to be afraid.
