Former “American Idol” contestant Kellie Pickler, 24, eloped and wed fiancé s, 37, on New Year’s Day.

The bubbly blonde’s rep told People.com that she and exchanged vows on Jan. 1 during a "small, intimate ceremony on a private island in the Caribbean."

The couple began dating in 2008 and became engaged on June 15 after s got down on one knee on a sandy Florida beach.

Since wowing Simon Cowell on the fifth season of “Idol,” Kellie has released two studio albums and is working on her third with the same producer as country superstar Miranda Lambert.

2011 promises to be a big year for this small town girl.
