Guest guest
Tina ~ I do know that saline has a shelf life....... and I do know that the body has natural processes, macrophages and phagocytes that take care of invaders, http://www.immunedisease.com/patients-and-families/about-pi/the-immune-system/blood-cells/phagocytes-macrophage.html , and implants are an invader.....the rate at which it will breakdown and degrade depends on you/genetics, and the materials that are the invader. Your best bet is to choose YOU.......Love YOU....... and protect the palace that houses YOU....... Hope this helps some..... I recently underwent a full tummy tuck on 12/28,and had contemplated implants as well. I decided to hold off on implants since I have researched and was uncomfortable with the possible risks associated with even saline implants. The post on this board showing contaminated implants swayed my decision greatly. I have been reading Dr's responses on realself.com regarding contamination of saline implants, and they seem to believe this would have stemmed from an open fill system while filling implant, and now most use a closed system to fill implants which lead to no contamination. For those of you who have experienced contamination problems, do you know by what method your implants were filled? Also, does anyone have any idea of the rate of complication for saline implants which led to explant without replacement (20% for instance). Seems like there are so many people out there with either type of implants without problems. just trying to find out as many facts as I can to make a decision in the future possibly. Thanks for any insight and info you can provide. Tina Sent via DROID on Verizon Wireless

Guest guest
Hi Dede, Happy New Year. I just read this to my husband. It's so unbelievable that the government allows us to put this poison in our bodies... and not to mention doesn't inform us of what we are actually implanting. I could go on and on, but thanks for posting the list of chems in the implants. ugh! It's amazing I guess after 9 years of this oozing into my system I still hang on... with a lot of medical care, supplements, kicking and screaming Hugs, There would be nothing to frighten you if you refused to be afraid. Guest guest
Hi Tina-i did have a syringe fill the implants. However, when I couldn't figure out what was wrong with me, as my alternative dr was checking me she found a good portion of chemicals in my body that dede has listed...we thought it was from the hair products I was using at work. Until I found this group. Now having those toxic chemical bags in me for 4 yrs (got them out in sept thank God), I can't be around even hairspray I'm so chemically sensitive. I've lost a lot of hair, weight (that's a bad thing for me) and have become allergic to everything I eat because of digestion issues from my body being so out of whack . The list of woes goes on, and I was a super healthy 32 year old so its pretty depressing. You are so smart to have put that off...learn from others mistakes. We really do take our good health for granted. So yes I had an open fill system but don't let them fool you. NO implants are safe. Hope you're recovering well from surgery. Well wishesBevSent via BlackBerry by AT&TFrom: "bbwolford@..."<bbwolford@...>Sender: Date: Sun, 2 Jan 2011 16:27:34 -0500< >Reply Subject: Contaminated implant questionsHi. I'm new to the group.
