Contaminated implant questions

Hi. I'm new to the group. I recently underwent a full tummy tuck on 12/28,and had contemplated implants as well. I decided to hold off on implants since I have researched and was uncomfortable with the possible risks associated with even saline implants. The post on this board showing contaminated implants swayed my decision greatly. I have been reading Dr's responses on realself.com regarding contamination of saline implants, and they seem to believe this would have stemmed from an open fill system while filling implant, and now most use a closed system to fill implants which lead to no contamination. For those of you who have experienced contamination problems, do you know by what method your implants were filled? Also, does anyone have any idea of the rate of complication for saline implants which led to explant without replacement (20% for instance). Seems like there are so many people out there with either type of implants without problems. just trying to find out as many facts as I can to make a decision in the future possibly.
