Guest guest
Hello everyone, Sorry for adding this to this conversation, I was looking for support in asking again for advice on explant surgeons. I am embarrassed because I am so confused I asked before and can't find the results. I remember some wonderful women responding but don't remember and didn't save it, I am scared to death so I put it out of my mind for a while. I thought I mustered up the strength and figured out financially how to explant...but then got scared and tried to ignore it AGAIN.. I am mainly so scared because I am so sick I am afraid I won't make it through surgery and recovery so chose I guess to let these toxins kill me slowly. But, now since I have a daughter who is 13 who I live for, I decided to let her give me a chance at life.. and am asking... Who do you if you do, recommend for explantation near Arizona? Thanks- From: leamary@...Date: Sun, 28 Nov 2010 09:25:46 -0700Subject: Re: freaking out!! My Sweet : Thank you for reaching out to the group, because you need plenty of love and support. When my Asthma started, it was just a mild cough, and I was very short of breath. As the years went by, it became full-blown Asthma, and I was very sick. I was on Prednisone, and they had me on a nebulizer for a few years. It took many years to get to where I am today, and I am in remission. We keep the nebulizer just in case, and my doctors make sure that I have Ventolin and Pulmocort...just in case. My doctors used conventional medicines to help to get me well. I had silicone breast implants, and they were ruptured for so many years. Life is still a struggle for me; however, if I get plenty of love and no stress, my quality of life is close to normal. I do have Lupus, and my immune system is compromised, and the only way for me to get through this is with antibiotics, and probiotics. Many women do not believe in this treatment; however, it has worked for me. I have constant infections, and that is probably why the antibiotics make me better. Honey, I was never cleaned out properly, and that makes my case so different. I believe that you will get well, but it will take time, and your family had better step in and help you to get through this. Stay close to us...we love you and will be here for you...always...Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`` freaking out!! Hi ladies,So, yes, I was diagnosed with asthma. I believe this is all steming from my implants for sure!! I've had this tighness in my chest before when I had the implants but it went away and always came back except this time it's here or good. The meds help but I'm still having trouble. After 2 1/2 weeks of being on the meds, I went back to the asthma specialist. Ofcourse he put me on more steroids and gave me a breathing treatment. My father and aunt both have asthma but even they are like, "you should be feeling better by now." Well, I'm not...the shortness of breath and chest tightness are are super bad in the morning. I had to use my inhaler 3 times this morning before it relieved anything and still my chest was tight. I was reading about connective tissue disorder and it said as the disease progressed it caused pulmonary hypertension. I knew it!! I have a auto-immune disease which has now caused me to have further complications. I'm trying to see a rheumotolog i st but my new (idiot) physician is laughing at me so I have to see a different doc to refer me. I need to be diagnosed so my family understands that I'm not getting better soon and my husband needs to know that, yes, I got sick from my implants. It's ridiculous!! I've been sick for 2 1/2 years and he still thinks it's not my implants causing it!! GRRR!! I'm sooo sick of this!!

Guest guest
HI , I lived in Tucson through my whole implant ordeal. I went to Dr. Karl Hiatt in Mesa AZ for explant. He did the total capsulectomy and was a real gem of a doctor--very compassionate towards me. I hope he is that way towards you too....though the whole implant thing has become so political, and some doctors don't have the courage to do what they know is right. I found Hiatt to be incredibly helpful through my explant procedure, getting insurance to cover it, and doing it right. If you check into him and go for a consultation, let me know how it goes. I got the last one of the day, (like at 4 PM), and he spent 2 whole hours with me, and his nurse was amazing as well. That was in 1998, so many years ago.
