Hello All, I have not been keeping up with what is going on with The Group for some time. Have been skimming over the posts tonight. I am appalled that some quack would try to take money from people that are already mired down with problems! Anyway, I have sad news and good news. Al & I lost one of our daughters on DEC. 1st to a Ischemic Heart Attack. Very suddenly, did not make it to the hospital before she died. She was only 42. I still can't believe she is gone! I just not wanted to get on the computer very much. Al is really going down hill. We have Home Health again. PT, Aide 3 X weekly. That is a BIG help! The good news is we celebrated our 50th Anniversary April 2nd. Our Kids gave us a beautiful reception! We saw a lot of friends that we had not seen in a long time. We finally sold our home in OKC and we love it out here on the farm, next to our oldest daughter & her husband, Sorry this got sort of long, wanted to let you know we are hanging in there. Love & Best Wishes to you All. Pat & Al

Greetings Farmerpatti! ;-) (I like that username!)

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. Don't worry if you feel out of it. Healing takes time. Just know that you are loved and cared for by lots of folks on the mail list.

I am also sorry to hear about Al. Remember to check for possible infections and sleep problems. Both can cause a sudden change in his ability to cope with the world.

Yes, it is a very clear blessing that you celebrated your 50th! Congratulations!

Don't worry about your note getting long. We are just glad you shared your joys and concerns with us. Always feel free to come here and share the cares of the world.

Remember, the load we carry can only get lighter if we share it with friends. You will find your true friends are always happy to help. And for them it is a blessing to be able to serve. So, sharing your load helps everyone.

Regards,
