Guest guest
Regina, I've never sued anyone in my life other than for divorce, and I am not normally a litigious person. HOWEVER....your ordeal was just so over the top somebody needs to pay if they have caused you permanent or long term harm. In the medical community, if it is not documented via the written word, IT NEVER HAPPENED. I know you have your hands full with school, life, and now this but you must get some baseline documentation. Please send a letter to the Chief of Staff, the Hospital Administrator and the head of Patient Services where this mess began. Copy your normal caregivers such as PCP and cardiologist. If it looks like this thing is headed south please seek legal advice. Everybody makes mistakes, but it sounds to me as if you had a bunch of ego maniacs who played with your life and health, all the while treating you like a blithering idiot. Let the hospital and insurance companies jerk a knot in their tail. They will be much more chastised and upset about their premium increase than if you die as a result of this debacle.
