Guest guest
Vera Good Luck! My guess is that you will have moisture in the motor which will turn to rust which will mean that motor won't turn and it will burn up. You might take it in for cleaning and see if they can catch it before the rust sets in. I used to take mine apart and clean them all the time but doubt if I trust myself to do it now. I'm not blond but I've sure been wondering lately if mother's dementia is catching up with me. I've been doing things almost that bad and starting something and then forgetting what I started. I haven't lost baby Andy yet but the way things are going, it wouldn't surprise me if I laid him down and forgot where I put him. I can't believe I'm doing this. It's really starting to get to me. So, move over Vera, I'm climbing in that boat with you, oars or not!! :>) Sally
Guest guest
Sally, The short term memory thing is a real problem. I joke about it but it is frightening at time. When I was still counseling, I had a patient that had severe short term memory problems and I came up with an idea that worked for her and had also helped me. Get someone to buy you the florescent post-it notes...the big ones in multiple colors. For each thing that you need to remember, write it on one and put it in a place that you won't forget and will have time to go over your list multiple times during the day. THE BATHROOM...in front of the toilet....at eye level. (You know you will be there everyday). When you finish one on the list, throw that one away. You can walk out of the bathroom with one of those notes stuck on your clothes and then toss it when you complete it. Hope this helps Deborah _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com
