Guest guest
, Have you tried wearing a hand brace for the carpal tunnel? I had it bad in both my hands when all 3 of my were under 5 yrs. They put me in half casts and said to rest them for a week. HA! I immediately took the casts off and went to buy braces for both hands. They really help. Try sleeping in them too. After your hand stops hurting, slowing begin exercising your wrist to make them stronger. Here, more than 10 yrs later, I still exercise them and it helps. Listen to your body as well. If your wrist begins to hurt...STOP whatever you are doing. Give it a rest for a couple of days and wear the brace whenever you need to do what made the pain in the first place. Please do these steps. My husband now, was told there was nothing they could do for his carpal tunnel syndrome about the same time as I began having problems. (We had not met and were living in two different worlds.) He just continued on, dealing with the pain, swollen wrists, numbness and everything that goes with it. He now has permanent nerve damage! This could have been prevented!
