Guest guest
Welcome to our group, and we will all try to help you. sometimes anger is good, because it makes you fight back. Good luck with your surgery, and please make sure that they clean you our properly. The Double-Lumen is Saline/silicone, and I am sure that you know that. I have a young women here who had the same implants, and she is doing well, because she was cleaned out properly. She is extremely tenacious, and noone messes with her. We are very close, and I have helped her with love and support. She sued the manufacturers, and won; however, they followed her everywhere. I am so glad that she stood up to these powerful crooks. Where do you live, and how long have you had your implants? Stay close, and we will be here for you....love always...Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``` Explant Scheduled for 1/20 and new here Just found this group! Have had McGhan double lumen 'saline' (looked at as gel) implants since January 1991...they come out in a few days. The journey to get to this point has been full of research and soul-searching.The insurance I had (Providence Health Plan) denied the explant 4 days before the original date (12/30). Since then, they have written their own new 'rules' along the way as they flop around trying to figure out how to control me. They clearly do not understand the damage implants cause, illnesses, the fact that MRIs, Ultrasound and mammogram are not 100% conclusive in finding ruptures/leak. That mold and bacteria is more damaging then many other things and so they hold you at arms' length and hope you go away.I am going to look for an attorney to write a demand letter to be reimbursed for surgery and when they laugh about that, I'll go to the press and file a suit, as well as going to the state insurance commissioner and the appropriate legislators...Anyway, I've had health issues for years. Was part of the class action in the '90's where we women got something like $2k after at one time being 'promised' six figures minimum. Through the years, I've never let my health issues slow me down and change what I love to do, but as I've gotten older, the fatigue kicks my ass daily and I struggle often to stay focused. Brain fog is a tough one for me...I am working with a naturopath/homeopath doctor and she has given me a detoxing/supplement protocol that will take 6-8 months to go through. Much of the healing process is to detox and supplement (and EAT/exercise) properly for YOU to rid your body of all the toxins that have built up. Getting explanted is the first step....then you need to get healthy! Thanks for reading!
