Guest guest
Right after my surgery two years ago, someone told me that it was better to waste the food in the garbage than to waste it on your hips. Makes sense to me. My brain still fights with me because I grew up with those starving kids overseas, but I try to remind myself of that sentence every time I feel the need to " clean my plate " . ------------------------------------------------ Terry Mayers 5DollarHosting.comT http://www.5dollarhosting.com (877)-838-HOST / .... because it shouldn't cost a fortune to make a fortune! ® Re: Dining out and small meals > I had a hard with the whole wasting food thing myself. Guest guest
I too grew up with the starving children issue. I always wondered why we didn't ship food over there instead of piling it on my plate but that always started a fight. *sigh* Betty Re: Dining out and small meals > I had a hard with the whole wasting food thing myself. Guest guest
Well, at least you were smart enough to ask. I thought to myself, " Oh, it would feel awful to go to bed hungry " and take care of it for them. Sigh. m Re: Dining out and small meals > > > > I had a hard with the whole wasting food thing myself.
