If you would have done your research you would have found out that Vita4Life is ALSO formulated with " three " types of WLS patients in mind, distal, medial and proximal. 12 capsules a day are for distals, 8 a day for medial and 4 a day for proximals. I know you think your products are superior, however, DON'T sit there and disclaim a very good product (Vita4Life) if you aren't going to give the FACTS about it. Let members go to the website at www.vita4life.com and see for themselves. I personally have taken this product, but prefer regular OTC vitamins instead. However, my surgeon recommends these vitamins from Vita4Life OR the vitamin list from Vitalady. B

Guest guest
In the product sold by Vita4Life at http://www.vita4life.net all the vitamins and minerals are thrown together in a single capsule, iron, calcium, B-12, everything. A dosage is 12 capsules per day, http://www.vita4life.net/dosage.html This dosage gives you 2000 mg calcium(citrate)(200%DC), 2,400 IU vitamin D (600% DV) and 200 mg magnesium (50% DV). On a per capsule basis, this works out to 166 mg calcium(citrate), 200 IU vitamin D and 17 mg magnesium. The Vita4Life product also has 45,000 IU vitamin A(palmitate) per 12 capsule dosage or 3750 IU palmitate per capsule. Bariatric Supplement System, http://www.bariatricsupplementsystem.com takes a different approach. It offers three supplement products, the Multi-Wellness capsule, the Cal-Mag-D capsule and the Sub-B-Trio sublingual table. Bariatric Supplement System operates on the premise that there are three basic types of WLS patients. The first type is the Basic patient who has had a proximal RNY and needs only basic supplementation (60 mg iron and 1200 mg calcium(citrate), etc.) That patient takes two Multi-Wellness capsules, 6 Cal-Mag-D capsules and one Sub-B-Trio tablet. The second type is the Cal+ individual who does fine with the basic multivitamin supplementation, but needs a higher degree of calcium supplementation. The Cal+ patient is typically a female over the age of 50 or anyone under the age of 30 or over the age of 55. That patient takes two Multi-Wellness capsules, 9 Cal-Mag-D capsules and one Sub-B-Trio tablet (60 mg iron and 1800 mg calcium(citrate), etc.). The third type of patient is the Max individual who because of the type of operation, a medial or distal RNY or BPD/DS, has a higher level of malabsorption needs to be meet. That patient takes three Multi-Wellness capsules, nine Cal-Mag-D capsules and one Sub-B-Trio tablet (90 mg iron and 1800 mg calcium(citrate), etc.). Bariatric Supplement System uses vitamin A only in the beta-carotene form. Its iron is in the iron amino acid chelate form typically used in prenatal vitamins. The standard dosage of Cal-Mag-D is six capsules containing 1200 mg calcium(citrate) (120% DV), 400 mg magnesium (100% DV) and 800 IU vitamin D (200% DV). Each capsule contains 200 mg calcium(citrate), 75 mg magnesium, and 133 IU vitamin A. Bariatric Supplement Systems just sells the three systems, Basic, Cal+ and Max from its web site. If someone want to buy one of the products individually, they need to email or call the company with their request. Ahhh, here is my two cents...no slamming either...my spouse and I have been together for 17 WONDERFUL years...porn is something we look forward to, together...we both have a very healthy sexual appetite and I SAY " As long as we BOTH agree with it, then let's do it " meaning, watching porn, flirting, strip clubs, etc...different strokes for different folks...some couples are in to " Swinging " , now, I always thought hubby and I were open to mostly everything but THAT is not our style...we enjoy being together just the two of us, but flirting and porn is not harmful in the least...my hubby always says " He always comes home to me because he knows where his tube steak is seasoned best " he he he...flirting is harmless fun UNLESS someone is looking for outside action and if that is the case, flirting, titty bars or porn wont matter...where there is a will there is a way and if someone wants extracurricular activity they will find it regardless...old fashioned or new aged, i NEVER judge someone else's choices unless they affect me personally...their business, NOT MINE!!!!!
