I get my Nature's Best IsoPure 100% whey isolate powder from

http://www.loseforless.com. More precisely:

http://www.loseforless.com/88bucofis.html. 8.8 lb for $65. Shipping

adds about another $7. I have ordered and re-ordered from them many

times, and I find them super-reliable. You can also get boxes of the

individual packages, including a tropical assortment of flavors (piña

colada and peach were pretty good, but a bit under-flavored for me),

if you want to try out several flavors.

I mix it with whole Lactaid milk for my first drink of the morning to

wash down my Vita4Life vitamins. I like Strawberry the best.

Chocolate is good, too, but a bit rich for first thing in the AM.

The only problem is that there is a little bit of residue that sinks

to the bottom of the glass and tastes absolutely vile, so I leave

about a tablespoon undrunk. 3 scoops into 12 ounces of water give

you 50 grams of protein. I use just two scoops into 10 ounces of

milk for about 40 grams total. For me, it tastes oh so much better

in milk.

And a big slice of apple pie taste oh so much better than a plain apple, but

what am I going to choose to keep my weight off? You got it...the apple.

I'd ditch the milk and forget about taste. Do the healthy thing...and stick

with water and ice...maybe some SF syrups, or a little pudding mix to make it

richer. You could also throw in a dollop of Cool Whip if you want it to

taste milkier. But you are taking in a truckload of sugar with that protein

drink. Maybe you need to rethink your priorities. Taste vs weightloss.

I'll take the weightloss. =)

The apple pie analogy was a GREAT response Jacque, and I completely agree.

I'd rather have weight loss than milk, even if I wasn't lactose intolerant.

To me, the shakes are delicious with just water and ice. Occasionally I'll

add some s/f syrup or Cool Whip, but I usually just have them plain.

There's a shake out there for everyone, they just need to find it.
