Guest guest Posted May 18, 2002 Report Share Posted May 18, 2002 I would like to thank everyone who talked to me about wheelchairs and how to deal with insurance, etc. I had finally bit the bullet and found an OT and have my wheelchair ordered. I am getting it custom made like most of you recommended. It is a Jazzy and the color I am getting is red. My favorite color! I told them I wanted a sporty wheelchair since I can't drive anymore I should have the best wheelchair that I can get. They were so nice and I feel alot better now that I have that taken care of. Now when I go somewhere I don't have to worry about someone taking the last wheelchair. I never realized how many people are disabled until I needed a wheelchair. I guess that is normal though. So when I come to North Carolina and you see a light brown headed woman flying bye on a red wheelchair honking a horn (that I am going to put on it) you can say I know that woman! or on second thought you might say Do I know that woman? hehe God bless, Belinda Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
