When I travel (always by car) I carry my meds in a small padded thermos type bag. I do not use an ice pack as none of my meds require such, but certainly one could be used. I also include a bottle of water and small bathroom size Solo cups. This method keeps things at an even temperature no matter what the outside temp or car temp may be. And it is convenient when staying in a motel as everything is in one place. One could also include a compartmentalized pill box and dole out the day's meds first thing in the morning so that you wouldn't have to struggle many times a day with bottle caps, etc.

I do this at home............keep a list of daily meds and times needed in bathroom in case I needed someone else to help me with this.
