Guest guest
Dear Friends, Al went home to be with our Lord, May 21st. He choked on some food I was unable to get it loose. By the time Emsa arrived he had lost consciousness. They worked with all the way to the hospital, but he never responded. The DR said with the lack of oxygen flow to his heart caused a massive heart attack. I will be lost and not know what to do with myself. We were joined at the hip for so many years. But I try to remember that He is in a much better place, where He can talk, run, eat and drink without fear. I love you all, and please keep my family and me in your prayers. Guest guest
Pat, so sorry to hear about your loss .. Looks like you've crossed this " deep water " before and I I love the song " How Firm A Foundation " and have memorized the promises it contains. I especially like the third verse that says " When through the deep waters, I cause thee to go, the RIVERS OF WOE shall not thee overflow: for I will be with thee thy troubles to bless and sanctify to thee thy deepest destress. It's almost word for word from Isa 43:2 " When thou passeth through the waters, I will be with thee, and through the deep waters, they shall not overflow thee. I think and I are in waters now but the " deep waters " are still ahead so I'm trying to trust the Lord for each day and I pray that you will do the same. Please feel free to drop in with an IM any time that you want to chat. God Bless, Annette (jwmop@...)
