New study : Cognitive Neuroscience Studies

We are looking for volunteers to take part in research at the NIH/Clinical

Center in Bethesda, land. Participation in this research is vital to our

understanding of these conditions. It may also lead to the development of

effective treatments in this area. You may qualify if you are ages 6 to 80,

and have been diagnosed with one of the following: Corticobasal Degeneration

(CBD); Frontotemporal Dementia; Pick's Disease; Progressive Aphasia;

Urbach-Wiethe (Lipoid Proteinosis); and Focal frontal lobe lesions due to

First Stroke, First Penetrating Head Injury, or a First Excised Tumor. These

studies include a variety of neuropsychological tests, brain-imaging

studies, and related neurological evaluations. There is no charge for any

study-related tests. All studies are conducted at the NIH Clinical Center in

Bethesda, land.
