Intro,Vioxx, HELP!!!

Hello All!!

I just started lurking a couple of days ago, and having been trying

to find the time to introduce myself.....but between homeschooling

four kids and having my fridge go out this morning I haven't had the

time. Until now......I am DESPERATE.....I am 22 months post op (2

years in January). I have been using Vioxx for undiagnosed leg pain

for the last year and a half. It literally gave me my life back. I

could once again do laundry (stairs) go shopping, exercise....all the

things that I hadn't been able to do for several years. Well, when I

joined a couple of days ago I caught all the posts about Vioxx. I

immediatley stopped taking it. My surgeon and PCP didn't have a

problem with it as long as I took it with my Ranitidine. Now the

problem is that after only two days I am in so much pain again that I

am back to being confined to my recliner. What can I do....I can't

call my surgeon or PCP cause my PCP is useless where WLS is

concerened ( I have probably taught him everything he knows)and my

surgeon is gonna tell me to go back on the VIOXX. Any suggestions

would be greatly appreciated....I can't stand living like this!!

Hopefully I will be able to find some time to properly introduce
