Guest guest
And now a question for the group. Over the last few years we both have gotten some help for leg pains by taking an extra dose of calcium in the evening. Along with the calcium I am giving a dose of magnesium to help with utilization of the calcium. Currently I have been giving a tablet that provides 50% of rated calcium needs. The magnesium provides 60% of rated needs. This particular calcium pill also comes with extra vitamin e (50% dose). Now the question. Lately I seem to notice that Peg has worse mornings after evenings when she has taken the calcium pill. This may be coincidental. However has anyone else noticed a connection between taking calcium and negative MSA symptoms, especially symptoms indicating a loss of logic and memory and a facility with words? Guest guest
Not all calciums are equal, some metabolize more quicky and more completely than others. Vitamin's C and D are also need to metabolize.. I drink warm milk before bed, take up to 100 mg of Vit. C. unless I've had enough orange juice and pack in all the needed sunlight (20 minutes) for vitamin D. Just a personal preference for naturally occuring calcium, so far so good. Magnesium screws up my meds, so I take no supplements. At 5/31/02 06:31 PM Friday, you wrote: And now a question for the group.
