Guest guest
I have been in a self pity bag for a couple of days because I realized how boring I am. Without work and family, I have no interests. Never really bothered me, but now that I have been unemployed for so long, it is hitting home. So of course now everyone is posting their interesting selves. I do hope this will be my biggest problem for now compared to what I have lived through in my lifetime. Guest guest
Judy that is just what I mean, what you are doing is so clever and interesting. I want to have a home bookkeeping business, but I can't get myself in gear to do it. I am not depressed just unmotivated for anything. Miss dull, Fay Bayuk >> --------------------------- Fay, I have never found your posts dull, and there is a great deal to be said for the experiences gained over a lifetime, whether one works or not, has a family or not. Please don't sell yourself short. I haven't " worked " for the past 5 years, and my 4 (grown) kids are all busy with their own lives. But somehow, I manage to create enuf " work " for myself that I can't get more than 4 to 6 hours of sleep a nite, I'm so busy! One of the interests I have developed is keeping myself healthy, researching how to do that, and sharing my findings with others who are interested in knowing. It's turning out to be a full-time job. I'm sure if you look to the things you truly enjoy, love to do, you will find something to fill your time equally as well. Hugs, Carol A

I always enjoy your posts. In fact, this list is far and away the best one out there, and I don't think anyone on here is dull! I'm sure there are a few other choice adjectives that may apply, but never dull. ) >> ----------------------------------- Time to change the subject line, everyone. Guest guest
Looney, there you go, another interesting and busy person. I didn't work when my kids were small. I was bored then. So I volunteered, did clay, sewing, knitting, needlepoint, scout leader, volunteer, took courses, and on and on. It wasn't until I went back to work full time that I felt I had an interesting life. I was a bookkeeper at a drug rehab and in those day everyone did everything. There was never a dull moment. Most of the time, I enjoy being boring. Having had to live in a crises mode so much of my life, this is a good change. It is just some days that I feel guilty. I am like the Seinfeld show. It is about nothing and I am about nothing in the same sense. Fay Bayuk
