Guest guest
Marg: You really should get a BP moniter for your home. Most of us have one and take the bp everyday. See what your bp is doing when you get flushed. I have done Fred's everytime that his face is flushed and it's the bp that is up. With the pro amatine it stay's around 112, but we do have those times it goes up over 150 and higher.Same thing with being hot and cold. That changes all the time also and in a matter of just minutes. Just never know anything for sure with this illness. Wish we did. Hugs Vera Vera Thanks to you and everyone else who responded to my question on OH and how it can vary.It was interesting to read that Fred also gets red and flushed, and that you feel it could be due to his BP going up-I have always assumed it was my BP taking a dive as I get extra dizzy at the same time ,however I have never actually tested my blood pressure when flushed, I think I`ll have to get a home BP moniter and start paying more attention...... it seems to be an important clue in diagnosis. Once again thanks for taking the time to respond and for caring ! Love, Marg Manson
Guest guest
I get flushed (look like rawe steak), caught by doc once, but BP was low, determined it was related to vasoconstriction (blood locked in extremities), which can happen if the brain improperly sends message and extremities remain engorges. Until that one time I also thought it was due to high BP. What does seem to correlate is that it happens when I am hot due to weather or exertion. My views on all this monitoring, life is short I have better things to do, and it will in any case not make any sense whatever.
