Guest guest
I have been having a problem lately with dry skin on my stomach, chest, boob area. The skin looks like it's peeling (like after a sun burn). I can't seem to hydrate it with any lotions or oils. Did anyone else have this problem at the -100 lbs point? Or is it something else. It's not red and doesn't hurt, just a bit itchy & dry. Any suggestions on products or treatment? Thanks, Janene

Guest guest
Do you take dry vit E over & above your multi vite? I noticed almost everyone becomes flaky, though, even with vit e. Of course, some of us started out that way. LOL! m dry skin? > I have been having a problem lately with dry skin on my stomach, chest, boob > area. Guest guest
This is what Doc told me........ Because of the way we eat our diets become very low in (here's where I get confused, but it doesn't make much difference) either saturated or unsaturated fats. The good part is that our triglycerides usually go way down but the bad part is that we get very, very dry skin. Now we all know how to take care of our skin. For sure we had a job of it at our highest weights. We all have lotions, oils, beads, rubs and scrubs. The simple fix for this (according to my surgeon) is to add a tablespoon of CORN OIL to our food once a day. No more, no less. You can add it to your protein supplement, drizzle it on your salad, add it to your yogurt....whatever. One tablespoon is good.....but two is not better!! I've seen a difference in as little as a week. It's worth a shot!
