Guest guest
Marg: Fred was first DX with parkinson, but 6 months later he was Dx with the MSA. This was because he had the Orthostatic Hypotension . Often when we would go to the Neurologist and he would test Fred's B/p it would drop when standing as much as 30 or 40 . Other times it was just 10 or so, then at times with the meds no change at all. Sometimes when his just sitting watching tv, his b/p will go up. His face will turn beet red. With MSA it seem's it likes to keep you guessing and on your toes. Sometimes Fred will have three or four days that his doing pretty well. On those days he will overdue. Then just as fast there will be three or four days that his just awful and can't do much of anything. Also he does better in the morning's and not at all well later in the afternoon. That is why I ask for afternoon appointment with the Neurologist so that he will see Fred when the real MSA show's it face. Take Care Vera *********** Hi all I know many of you experience a drop in Blood Pressure on standing but I`m wondering if anyone has noticed that this varies day to day as sometimes mine drops 30systolic/10diastolic and sometimes hardly at all.(On these days I`m convinced I must be getting better ),Anyone else experienced this ? Thanks, Marg Manson
