Guest guest
Vicki, I have been to Puerto Vallarta as well as Mazatlan. I really preferred Mazatlan. The area was more quaint. P.V. was more commercial. Snorkeling is not very good at these locations, but horseback riding was highly recommended. I did not do it because when we went, I was very heavy and felt sorry for the horse. Also available in P.V. are four wheeler tours. Now that is something that I really wanted to do. It was about $50 per person and was 4 hours I think. If you are doing souvenirs, Mazatlan is much cheaper than P.V., so if you go there first, keep that in mind. jcs Judy Chattanooga Message: 17 Date: Thu, 21 Nov 2002 01:44:48 -0000 Subject: OT- recommendations for Mexico We're going on a cruise Sunday to Mexico. Ports are Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan (1 day) and Cabo (1/2 day). I'm interested in horseback riding, kayaking, snorkeling. Has anyone been and have a recommendation. Thanks, Vicki A.
