Guest guest
and a HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU! If you can get a home computer and then work occasionally from home, it's great -- I am working from home tomorrow, do this probably about once each month -- days that I just don't feel like getting dressed and driving for an hour ... my work is very portable (I'm a tech writer) and I love this perk!!! Happy New Year!! Dear Friends, I am off work the next 3 days, for the holiday. ( I am asking for a computer for home for my BD in March). Anyway I wish each and every one of you a wonderful New Year! And look forward to talking to all of you then!! Big Hug, Connie

Guest guest
I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year's! I enjoyed meeting up with on New Year's Eve, and had a wonderful lunch with her. I shared my DVD compilation of the many news reports that were done on some of the girls in our group on MTV and the local news channel that aired some reports on the whole FDA approval event about a decade ago. I'll be doing some detoxing programs starting as soon as I get back from saying goodbye to my son in Reno this coming weekend. His National Guard unit is being sent to Afghanistan for a year. It's so awful to contemplate, being a mother with a son going off to war.... Hopefully my focus on detoxing will keep my mind focused on better things. I'll be praying for sure. Is anyone else starting any detox programs? Patty
Guest guest
For hormones you must take bio-identical hormones.the synthetic are bad. On the all ldn does not help hormones and not adrenal the is fatigue. If the inflamtion is less then in the long run it will help with the stress I am using the Free version of SPAMfighter.SPAMfighter has removed 1713 of my spam emails to date.Do you have a slow PC? Guest guest
I take, and believe in bio-identical hormones. I was on these hormones before starting LDN. I also do NOT take and do not trust the synthetic hormones such as Premarin and PremPro. I have very slightly lowered my thyroid, but my hypothyroidism came from surgical removal of half of my thyroid, not from it being affected by something else, so I am not surprised that LDN had little effect on it. I also have had no significant change in my hormones such as estrogen, progesterone or testosterone. Every one of my US doctors except the one who specializes in health, hormone and youth therapy, discourage the use of hormones, but I cannot see why everybody would not want to be as they were when they were younger. The Nurse's study that was stopped was with the synthetic hormones and they are not good for ya. There is no reason to stay on " low dose " hormones if they are bio-identical. Full balance of hormones is a real blessing in finally feeling the best that I can be. In short, it has not affected the dosage of my bio-identical hormones at all after 20 months on LDN. Francie http://Kristull.com > > I would like to wish everyone a Happy 2011. Being a newbie - only on LDN for about 3 months now I appreciate all of your information and answers to my questions. It is really tough going through a chronic disease without support. > You all are wonderful! Keep the positive stories coming it helps me to have hope. > > Still struggling with the dosage amount (some hot flashes) and pain in SI joint which I don't think is related but not sure. I am still looking for some feedback as to whether LDN affects your hormone levels. I am on a low dose of HRT due to my dry eyes etc. and was not sure if it increased your hormone levels since I believe LDN helps with your adrenals? Any feedback would be appreciated. > > I e-mailed Dr. Zagon but he just told me to take the LDN every other day for a couple of weeks. > > Again thanks to you all. > > Remaining hopeful. > > >
