Guest guest
Oh Okay, I just knew the clinic really helped my Dad....I'll keep praying. I love you! Lu Lu, Thank you for your continuous prayers. My Mother-in-Law is not at the Clinic. She is at a local hospital. She was admitted there because that is where the nursing home doctor practices. Guest guest
Glenda, Thanks for the shoulder. Spent all morning at the nursing home. Hospice is coming in to take care of her. I am planning the music for the mass and designing the funeral booklet. Spent all day running around so I am just getting to my mail. I will give that hug. Guest guest
Sandy, you have certainly had more than your share to deal with recently - no wonder you are flaring! Tell that she is NOT a burden, she is your baby, no problem, no burden - end of story! I'm so sorry to hear about your Mother-in-law, I hope she has had a rich and happy life, and that the remainder of her days are filled with love and peace. I know you already know that she will be going to a better place, but I know how hard it is to lose a loved one. Please find time in your life to mourn her passing. Hang in there, Sandy, I know how difficult this has to be for you, but please hang in there. If there is ANYTHING any of us can do to help, even if it is just to listen, please don't hesitate to use us - don't even need to ask. God bless you and and your mother-in-law and all your loved ones. May He hold you safely in the palm of His hand and surround you all with His love. Blessings to you all. Guest guest
Sandy, hang in there, I know how difficult this is. Did I ever tell you that I am going to have the longest funeral mass in recorded history. I've been in choir for a long time, and every time I learn a new hymn that I like it get's added to my mass list - there are over 200 songs now, but I fugure I'll really fake everyone out when they wheel the casket down the aisle and the choir sings " Here I Am Lord " ...and I sit up and wave! Sandy remember this is all a natural progression and we have to grieve and we have to go on. God bless you! Love, Judy O

Guest guest
Sandy & Judy, I think we all have a long list of can'ts. Don't you just hate it. Guilt slowly creeps in too. I try to take one day at a time and enjoy it to the fullest. Doesn't always work, but then I have a moment of the pity pot and hurry and jump off. LOL Sandy, will be in my prayers tomorrow and I just know everything will go smoothly. I will be with her in spirit and thought. Tell her that the room will probably be so crowded with all of us that she will be glad to get home. LOL Sending lots of hugs and prayers

Guest guest
, had her first treatment and all went well. They said it would take about 2 weeks before she will get the side effects, Hair loss, fatigue and skin burn. She has solved her transportation problem. The hospital van is picking her up and taking her home. We are giving her a surprise " Hat Shower " on Sunday. We are hoping it will boost her spirit. I am so glad that the transportation has been solved to. That way she will feel like she is more on her own and not so dependant on others. Sending good thoughts and prayers your way! Guest guest
Sandy, I never heard of a " Hat Shower " , what is it? My guess is that is she is going to lose her hair, the hats are a cover up and/or a pick-me-up, am I correct? If that's correct, it would really work for me, I used to have so many hats, that after Jim & I got married and moved for the first time from CT to Chicago, he really grumbled about all the hat boxes, the next move, he told me I could only bring x number of hats with me (Not really a big deal since they had gone out of fashion by then). Then, my children got to play with them - so much for style! Please let us know how the " Hat Shower " goes! (Gee, I wonder how Jim would react if I......No, no, I don't need a hat! Guest guest
Sandy, I think has earned a permanent spot on the prayer list. I pray she can tolerate the treatment and comes thru with flying colors. Thoughts and prayers are with you both. By the way, how are YOUR flares???? Need to take care of yourself, too. Please remember that. LOL, Judy O
Guest guest
Judy, Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I was having computer trouble. My son installed a Web Cam for me and for some reason it messed up my email. The Hat Shower was a success. is going to lose her hair but now she has a abundant supply of hats to choose from. Guest guest
Sandy, I suppose we could all shave our heads in a show of unir=ty! Boy, I hope nobody jumps on that bandwagon, as much as my hair makes me crazy, I'd like to keep it! I'm so glad that enjoyed her hat party, I hope it lifted her spirits! And look at all the neat hats she got! I told my husband about it, he said not to get any ideas - I LOVE hats!!! It's really a shame that we don't wear them as much anymore, altho the fashion mags are showing them a lot now, so they may be on the way back. Tell she's a trendsetter!! Take care of all of you. Our love and prayers are with you. Love, Judy O
