Guest guest
He is wrong about DCA not being available to the public. Obviously it is. DW tested the DCA he got for acidity and found it to be fairly neutral. He has been taking it for 14 days or so apparently without untoward effects. With regard to " trials that will take years and cost hundreds of millions of dollars, " see the movie " Lorenzo's Oil. " I believe DW is some kind of doctor, so that he has a better grasp of how to take DCA than I would. But of course Dr. Michelas HAS to be SUPREMELY CAREFUL about what he says with regard to members of the public taking DCA. If he were to answer, to the question, " Can I get and take DCA on my own? " something like, " Of course, no problem! Anyone who wants to can get and take the stuff! " or even anything remotely positive, the results could obviously and certainly be CATASTROPHIC. For one thing, there's always the guy who thinks, " More is better, " and who would take 100 or more times what an intelligent person might take... Guest guest
Donna, Have a look at: http://www.ktre.com/Global/story.asp?S=6040425 & nav=2FH5 The story from the American Cancer Society - understandibly very cautious.. I'd think the caution is more because they hear about things like this all the time. Dave donnadbd777@... wrote: > Has anyone heard of DCA? Guest guest
Guy, All in all, DCA does not at all appear to be the " miracle " it was announced as. I don't think there will be a lot to cover-up. The person who was taking it and reporting back to the group was banned, but prior to his being banned, he did not report anything fantastic about his results. Also, he did not take it for long for fear of significant negative side-effects. At this point, whenever Calgary gets their research done and published will be fine with me because I have even seen that resveratrol is supposed to be as good as or better than DCA, and resveratrol is immediately available. > > Hello group members.Been away for a while, has there been any more news > on the use of DCA by one of the group members on a trial basis ? > I did get an update from the U of Calgary in Alberta, but they have yet > to do a trial run and are asking for funding.I sent them a small > donation but one would think that Health Canada would fast track this > new discovery.Hopefully if this product works it does not get buried > in the paperwork. > Regards to all. > Guy >

Guest guest
Hello Pam I looked into DCA a bit and have contacted the doctor and he gave me the following details. LDN is working for me so haven't pursued DCA option but will consider it if I need to. The doctor's email to me: Hi Deidre, We do accept non-Canadians. The cost depends on what exactly you want us to do. If you just want a single consultation and a 2 week supply of DCA, the total cost is about $1800 for the consultation, $100-$200 for the blood tests, and $300-$360 for the DCA (depending on body weight). That includes one month of unlimited ongoing communications with your own doctors, email to you and your doctors, and 24 hour support/advice in case of emergencies etc. If you want to come, start treatment, and stay for 2-4 weeks to see if DCA is working, and receive total care from us (including naturopathic care, medications, pain management etc), we can make a package for you. Also, have you heard about another drug called TM? I am including some information about that as well. Guest guest
OH that is great you are doing LDN now. Do you know which post the LDN was with two ladies doing well? I seemed to have skipped that or didn't see it. The DCA group is very responsive and good at communications so you should have an email soon. Keep me up to date if you have time on any news that way, Dee --- pam phetteplace wrote: > Hi Dee > Thanks for the info, I also sent an email but > have not recieved a response yet.
