Guest guest
Darling Dede: Thank you for this great information; however, it looks like I cannot take this vitamin while on Coumadin. This morning I was reading an article on Mitochondrial effects on hypertension...it looks good for the future. I will scan the article in a few minutes. Honey, we all think that it is an infection somewhere in my throat ormy breasts, because when I rinse my mouth with Tetracycline the pain stops. My doctors are sending me to an ENT, and we hope that he/she finds out why my mouth burns so badly. See article below. We love you so...always....Lea and ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``````` http://www.truestarhealth.com/Notes/1539003.html
Guest guest
Lea, I'm so sorry to hear about your burning mouth syndrome... I have that as well, and mine started after my root canals, which were placed in late 2005. I had them removed as well, and I have never been free from the pain since then. It is intermittent pain, usually worse in the late afternoon. Oil pulling seems to offer some relief, but I'm looking into the low oxalate diet to help it as well. I hope you are able to find some answers! My periodontist this morning told me to look up " Burning Mouth syndrome " on the internet, because he has patients who have this problem. There is no cure, from what he said, but he suggested avoiding certain foods, like cinnamon. Cinnamon has high oxalates! Love you, Patty > > > Darling Dede: > > Thank you for this great information; however, it looks like I cannot take this vitamin while on Coumadin. Guest guest
I was just looking at two different lists regarding oxalate content on foods, and one says cinnamon is high and the other says cinnamon is low....so, I guess there is a difference of opinion on that. I guess each person will have to decide for themselves if they are reactive to it. I've been paying attention to how I am reacting to the diet, and definitely have noticed less flank pain on my lower right side when I stopped drinking iced tea. I had some today when I went to lunch with a friend and my flank pain reared up again....no black tea for me from now on. Herbal tea should be OK.
