Guest guest
Hi Barb! The closest I've ever been to a tornado was about 15 miles. Yesterday it passed through the apartment complex. It rained 2.5 inches in 20 minutes. We got about 4 inches of hail in some places, and the streets were completely flooded, over 8 feet high in some places. People have told me in the past that an approaching tornado sounds like a freight train. Well, they are right. But thank God everyone is OK, and I was no worse for the wear (except for a change of underpants!!) M. in San Angelo Storms Hey, is everyone high and dry as the rains have come? I see San Angelo is VERY wet. Very wet here in Ft Worth, Dallas metroplex. Lots of creeks running out of the banks. DFW is having trouble with keeping the flights on schedule. I do not know how much water has fallen but it is going to be good for the crops and reservoirs. Over five inches in some places. Lots more out west. Take care every body. Guest guest
I was wondering about you. Glad all is well. Yes the tornadoes are wicked I saw a few in Kansas and Oklahoma. No fun. I often wonder how the weather chasers can do it without getting hurt. But we do depend upon them. We got about five inches of rain but no really bad storm. Just rain. No chance for flooding where we are. Take care and keep in touch. Barb -- "Faith is not belief without proof, but trust without reservations."
