H. Pylori is thought to be the bacterium that causes most ulcers. I

had it in 1995, and I also had symptoms of an ulcer. A 10-day course

of antibiotics and Prilosec got rid of it. When I had my pre-op EGD

last year, I was free of the bacterium as well as no ulceration

evident.
