Ann,

Chipmunks are so cute! I guess the bad thing is they cause a lot of

holes and you more work. I have not seen any chipmunks around my

house. I have a lot of squirrels. If the squirrels make the mistake

of getting in the dog's yard they don't usually find their way out.

My big dogs think they are something to play with. Ouch for the

squirrels! The birds like to make nest in at least one of my hanging

baskets on the front porch so I usually lose the flower in that one.

It doesn't matter how late I put the baskets up that one bird waits

for it I believe! Last year I thought I had outwitted him but NOT!

haha The things we have to do for making our yards and surroundings

as beautiful as we can. I want to put in a water garden this year but

I don't know if we will or not. I have been watching the gardening

shows and getting lots of ideas. My poor poor husband but someone has

to dig the hole and make the water garden! hehe I am also wanting to

get more cement and rock sculptures. Ahhhh the bad thing is it takes

money so I might just be dreaming this year. There is nothing wrong

with beautiful dreamers : > ) I can just imagine your dogs trying to

go after them! It makes me laugh!

God bless,

Belinda

'ts been a rough day. Everything hurts, wanted to do

so much more. Painted some styrofoam as a base for what is slowly

becoming my mini-rock-garden. Everytime I walk the dog I pick up a pebble

or two, should be more impressive soon. The porticulata should

cover a good deal of it, and planning to pull some moss from the stone

wall in the park. Now just waiting for things to grow in a bit

more. Can't really do anything else just sit on my ass and putter.

My son did remark that I looked less gray today. Progress, I

think. I'm sidestepping seeing mom this weekend, she'll have to

understand. She's already made plans with my sister anyway (not

including me as usual). Have my daughter and son here for mother's

day. Good enough.

Spectacular water garden, Ray, any lotus?? Loti?? Really am toast

today. Taking a soak and packing it in. Stay out of

hospitals, message received loud and clear. I have my nightmare

stories too. I think we've all learned to put going there off if at

all possible. Perhaps when Bill et al compile the brochures

hospital ER's and medical schools should be a priority.

Night all.

Aletta,

Sorry to hear that yesterday was such a painful, difficult day. I hope that today brings you some relief.
