Guest guest
So far, they all have carbs in them themselves, even splenda. Count one carb for each packett. I've ordered something from Netrition that has zero carbs so I cant wait til it gets here so I can see how it tastes. I've weaned off the others and just use splenda. I can truthfully say I can see a time soon when I wont use even that. I think especially for non menapausal women that sweets and craving them " at times " is natural and something we wont totally conquer until menapause (HOPEFULLY). I love sweets, sometimes my mind just wants chocolat, nothing prompts it, its just there. I try to use the protein drinks to help satisfy that, sometimes it really works! One thing I notice now though that my mind doesnt totally get it altogether is that the anticipation of a sweet thing never seems to quite live up to the expectation. Each time I break reigns and get off track I seem to be searching for the ultimate yummy experience and I'm always pretty much dissappointed. Why? because it's a spiritual quest an emptiness or lacking of inner support a messed up signal that equates to hunger rather than dealing with the issues... a learned or trained response. Once I start paying attention giving myself support, understanding and write or talk about it the cravings dont come so often. hugzzz flo Sex & Sugar - just sugar > http://www.caloriecontrol.org/sucralos.html > > > Would like opinions on the following: Who out there thinks artificial > sweeteners (I use splenda) increase or contribute to the need for a carb > fix? > > Hi , > For me it will if I use it even daily -- once in a while on oatmeal or > something is ok but not as a " daily " thing.
