Guest guest
http://www.caloriecontrol.org/sucralos.html > Would like opinions on the following: Who out there thinks artificial sweeteners (I use splenda) increase or contribute to the need for a carb fix? Hi , For me it will if I use it even daily -- once in a while on oatmeal or something is ok but not as a " daily " thing. The above article on Splenda (sucralos) say's it is one of the artificial that doesn't kick in the carb craving -- I personally disagree because it does for me... just the sweet taste begets desire for more sweet taste cycle ~smile~ So, I have to be careful using it... however, I have found baking with it for my family to be a real treat -- they have no idea they are getting a " no sugar " version of banana bread ~smile~ and I'm not telling !!! The Calorie Control Council has a lot of " studied " information on all types of sweeteners that I found to be helpful. hugz, ~denise
