Guest guest
There are some that have been ok without complete removal of all the garbage. But most of them we havent heard back from in a long time. Many if not most have to go back and have surgery to have them removed. I, myself, had about 7 more surgeries removing junk. I had a massive silicone rupture, wasnt cleaned out very well, and thru my armpit, and new ones thrown back in, and 10 months later I was so ill my doctor was in tears when she saw me. She did an enbloc proceedure to remove those, then did 6 subsequent surgeries to remove many many lumps and bumps and lymph nodes and siliconomas, and granulomas and one that grew so big it was 10x7x4 1/2 cm large ! It had gangrene in it and was intertwined into my right pectoral muscle. I would never, ever recommend anything but enbloc...... I just pray what ever route you go, you have a speedy and full recovery ! ! Has anyone had their implants removed without using the en bloc method? If so, have any of you had good results? Thanks
Guest guest
Well, I think I still have my capsules. I'm researching this now. It makes no sense to leave a toxic foreign body inside you and expect to get as well as you would get if it wasn't there. Too bad docs that go to medical school can't figure out that simple logic... or we wouldn't be in this mess. Hugs, There would be nothing to frighten you if you refused to be afraid. Guest guest
Wow Dede, my heart is aching for what your poor body has been through and thank you for being so thorough about it. I knew the importance of enbloc but I was just affected by reading last night what all that involves and got scared again. I know it is scary leaving the scar tissue in also. My mentality behind the question about enbloc was that I was wondering that if somehow I could "get away" with not having to have all that extra cutting, and just hope and pray or try methods to break down the scar tissue somehow like someone mentioned light therapy, that my recovery would be better. I am worried about all the trauma to my chest wall but I know it is trauma to leave it in also. I have a hell of a time recovering from surgery. Examples... I had a hemorroidectomy and couldn't pee had to have cathetor for a month, I had knee surgery and I couldn't recover and had to use a walker for about 6 months, and I wasn't even this weak or sick then.. so now I'm afraid all the trauma I just won't be able to recover from it...so I started dreaming well just if I could just have them simply popped out it's better that not having them in anymore and still a benefit. I don't wanna sound like a dumb butt here I know the toxic aspects are very real. From: DGRAHAMA@...Date: Tue, 1 Feb 2011 19:34:42 -0500Subject: Re: Removal without en bloc?
