Guest guest
Oh, : Thank you for all of the great food ideas. I am very careful with our food; however, I can eat most fruits. This morning I had real oatmeal and an orange for breakfast, and the pain has gone in my side. I quit taking all of my vitamins for a few days, and that might have been my problem. They are hard to digest, and maybe one got in those little pouches that form with Diverticulosis....wonders me! We never eat fatty foods, and we are trying to find more organic foods. Honey, I am sorry that you have UC, because we had a neighbour who suffered so much from this disease. Please take care, and we will be here to support you....love always....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``` OSTO D2 VITAMIN 50 000 IU PER DAY: I am reluctant to take such a big dose of OSTO D2 VITAMIN 50 000 IU EACH DAY. My doctor has no idea about this vitamin and he prescribed it, and here is an article on it. This morning, I rubbed it on the back of my hands...that sounds silly. I hope that someone in our group has some advice on this, because I know that I need to take this vitamin. Thank you....love....Lea See article below. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` http://www.inspire.com/groups/national-osteoporosis-foundation/discussion/vitamin-d-50-000-iu-daily/
Guest guest
Lea, I'm glad at least as of this post, the pain in your side has subsided Yes, maybe some of the vitamins you just can't take.. or in that form. It's so hard. We have to listen to our bodies for sure. I hope you continue to feel better and can create or find things to eat and build you up. I actually made a body lotion a while back with some of the vitamins left over from my IV. Unfortunately, I could only tolerate a about 1 cc of Vit C in the lotion otherwise I got cramps. Boy, do we have to be creative. Thanks for your good wishes for my health also and your continued support. Hugs, There would be nothing to frighten you if you refused to be afraid.
