Guest guest
>>> Hi All ........ am 15 months out from open RNY and am wondering if this sore tail bone thing ever eases off?<< Hi Debbie, Yeah, it eases off... after you stabilize your weight for a while and things begin to arrange themselves on your new body you'll get the Butt-Be-Back thing going on... not usually a really large butt but enough to give the bones some relief. I still have to " shift " -- left, middle, right, left, middle, right... and keep redistributing my weight so no one bone takes a lot of extra wear... hugz, ~denise
Guest guest
Mine did. I thought I was alone in this!... Wow.... As I lost my bottom got so sore and it was my joke to myself as I had no one to talk to about it. (Or felt like it was a ME thing). But just so you know.... I mine did heal up finally.... I had to change sitting positions continually and just sat easier.... but it did heal up.. I still haven't developed much padding there... it hurts bad to ride a bike yet.... but I do that still.... I figure it will take time and that will no longer be uncomfortable... Betty VERY SoreTail Bone Hi All ........ am 15 months out from open RNY and am wondering if this sore tail bone thing ever eases off? I go to my chiropractor about every 2 weeks and have it adjusted and it really helps, but not for longer than 2 weeks. I'm thinking about buying one of the cushions for the tail bone. Does anyone have one and if so does it really help? I'm 5'3 and down from 230 lbs to around 147 .... give or take a few pounds on different days!! I have a small frame and sitting is a big problem sometimes. Please tell me that it gets better!!!! I sure don't just plop down like I did before! hehe Thanks for the info in advance, Debbie in Al Homepage: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Graduate-OSSG Unsubscribe: mailto:Graduate-OSSG-unsubscribe

Guest guest
Deb, I was in agony for several weeks - I couldn't sit on the subway or trains at all, and really worried about it. Thank Goodness it passed - now I can hardly remember it. Wait until you get to the jutting hip bone stage - I couldn't lie on my stomach for weeks, because these huge bones kept hurting me!
