Wow is right teresa. I watched a couple of the movie one. It turns my stomach

seeing some of the corruption dramatized. What a mess they've created to insert

these poisons into thousands of women. I shudder at the thought. I'm So happy

you didn't do it! Maybe another huge lawsuit is coming soon again. Thnx for

the clips. And yes, I forgot about the inserts @ joannes. I used them yrs ago

for my bathing suits too. Good idea

I am stunned and saddened to think that the insurance companies and the implant

manufacturers are slinking out of their responsibilities when people are in

pain.

It does sound like lawsuits have been somewhat effective for making medical

changes, but OMG how exhausting would that process be? Would need to find a

lawyer to do it on a percentage basis...

We need to shout about it to the senators and congressmen/women, the

manufacturers, the FDA, the media, and the insurance companies...if the letters

are sent, they have to remain on file. Over the months and years, maybe they

will have an impact.

Here's a thought that hit me in the wee hours of the morning...when folks

willingly put cigarette smoke in their chests for many years and then some of

those folks end up in pain with lung issues, the insurance pays for their care!

As far as lawsuits.....tort reform along with the fact

they keep saying implants are safe, as well as signing

your life away before surgery keeps all that at bay

for the companies and doctors......

Im not sure there are any lawsuits anymore.

I know many of the big lawsuits back in the day have

been stuck in the courts of appeals....and many never

got a penny.

The ones that did had to sign a gag order to not talk

about it at all in order to get some money...and 30-50 %

went to the attorney then they took out costs they said

they incurred. Finally, the person got alittle money

which for most, it didnt even cover explant, muchless

any additional surgeries, or doctor visits........

The whole thing is a mess, and not right........

You do get a huge education in the process tho.......

I am serious about making a difference. I got my implants Oct 2005. I have been sick for 1.5 yrs and just now have associated it with my implants. I am speaking with Dr. Kolb and her assitants is trying to get my insurance to cover it, but I now have to fly all the way to Atlanta, get examined by her in order to have them removed. I am mad as hell to say the least about all of this, and someone needs to be accountable. I can't drink wine, eat chocolate, eat cheese, eat bread, eat yogurt, eat sugar, eat vinegar, etc.....I can only have lean chix, turkey, fish and vegetables, if i deviate my food

gets stuck in my small intestine and won't go down...I have been daignosed with Candida in my blood and intestines. My hair is coming out, I hurt every morning and gets better as day progresses, blurred vision, hypothyroid, extremely constipated,adrenal fatigue,dizziness, get sick very easily , yeast infections, vaginally and underbreast and sinusitis.....I use to run marathons, and hike mountains...now I can't get my heart rate up or else I exhasut myself...I wished to God I had never gotten these....I take supplements to try and kill the fungus and when I do, the left side of my neck and head sting and burn from the mycotoxins. I sometimes feel like I have something crawling in my head during die-off times...there are days I feel immensely sick and then I have some good days....mornings are the worst. nights....insomnia. I have been seeing a good nautropath who I have been doing rapid lymphatic drainage with and

that has helped get rid of toxins...but there are some days my eyes dialate and I am dizzy and that is when I start to pound more water. I hate this...and I just don't understand why the insurance companies can't cover when it is only making us sicker! I also am very pissed off that someone is not held accountable for the approval of Salin Implants as being safe! They are not! Count me in to help however I can! Because once I am thru this, you best believe I am going to whatever i can with guns a blazing to make sure everyone is aware of the dangers.

White and Luxenborg out of NYC was one of the huge firms that had many of us and they walked away with hundreds of MILLIONS in legal fees.As to writing letters: Letters are seldom kept. Legislators will keep things for one year. It is best to get your ducks in a row and go speak to a State Rep/Senator who is on the committee for health services, ways and means (these are the people who have the money say so) and or human services. Get good information together and then request a

meeting either at the capitol when they ware in session (now) or when they are home in your district....they will generally give you 15 minutes of time. I have talked to the State Rep. who I worked for in Oregon and it just so happens one of his daughters got implants 2 years ago (she is 30)...her husband is a doctor. His wife was appalled when I discussed my experiences and is going to speak with her daughter. I am preparing my insurance appeal and various other information and will sit down with him later in the session to discuss the writing of a bill mandating health insurance companies to pay for explants for women who have been implanted prior to 2006 without proving damage to the implants. He also is a co-chair on ways and means.
