Guest guest
, I am glad that you had a good visit with your doctor. The name of the neurological institute that he told you about is Barrow's Neurological Institute located at St. ph's Hospital in Phoenix ( Mohammed Ali Center). My dad's neurologist is there and he is wonderful. He has not only given my dad good medical care, he is also giving him hope. I am so glad you get to go there! You will get good care. Here is hoping you don't have to wait to long! Jean (phx)

Guest guest
Hi , It sounds like Dr. Downs has you all lined up. Three specialists!! Wow! Sounds like you are going to get some help. Hope you can get some good sleep tonight. It is great that you are not having to wait too long. When my dad first had symptoms we had no idea what his problem was. It took 3 months to get an appointment with the neuro. We went to ER and finally got him there. I was so glad to have had the name of a good one. No telling where we would be now. That was 3 years ago. He has not had such specialized care as you will be getting. You are young and it sounds that your doctor really wants to help. Is it hard for you to care for your little one when you are having symptoms? I can't even imagine how you are doing it! It sounds like you have educated yourself on MSA and know all the language already. You will like the people here. They are good people who really care. Jean (phx) I always write Phoenix because there is another Jean.

Guest guest
Dr Downs called me today. Apperntly the kind of nero specialist I need is currently on sick leave, and the other doctor in the same department quit, so he s having me go to some other medical center on 7th and the I10. There I will see three different neuros. He said they have become so specialized, that with my different problems, I will need three,... yowzer,.lol He is primarly concerned with my low bp, and episodes of syncope. So will see that guy first then go from there. Boy , it sure can get complicated. At least this doctor is getting things done rite away, unlike in Albuquerque. I hope its soon, having one of those nights. Took a nap this afternoon and had a bad bout with the sleep apnea, and it has left me feeling dizzy and crapy all night:(( Afraid to go to bed now, so will probably be up a while. - -- In shydrager@y..., Suicoaz@a... wrote: > , > > I am glad that you had a good visit with your doctor. Guest guest
, It sounds like you have your hands full. May is not too long to wait for your appointment. That's good. You know , I don't think that 30 is considered old to be having a baby! My friend just had a child at 45. She even has a grandchild older than her youngest child. Now 45 is OLD to have a baby. Lots of women have babies in their thirties. What does your doctor say about the symptoms starting then? I am glad that you have a supportive husband. Take care now. Guest guest
Hi, Well the actaul appointment is not until May 10th, so it wont be that soon:(( Originaly not until June, but there was a cancellation. It does get hard taing care of the baby. Especialy when I am having dizzy spells, or when my muslces are giving out and I can hardly walk. My husband is wonderful, he helps a lot with her when he is home. She is now at the temper tantrum age, oh what fun,lol but I love her to death. I still wonder if her pregnancy brought this all on though. The symptoms started when I was pregnant and got much worse after I had the baby. She is 16 months old now. I wonder if having the baby at a later age caused something? Or mabey just exhaberated what was already there. Anyway, it is hard to have to wait until MAy 10th. Im sure Ill be in the ER a couple times before then. My parents think IM a hypochonriac because of the amount of times Ive been to the ER for problems, even fainted at thier house once. They dont understand. My husband is pretty understanding, he lives with me and sees what I go through day to day. The hardest are when I have muti symptom days. I wish I was at least on some kind of medication. But,..alas, the usual doctor wait. Well, the baby is playing with the printer, so I am going to sign off,lol - - - In shydrager@y..., Suicoaz@a... wrote: > Hi , > > It sounds like Dr. Downs has you all lined up. Three specialists!! Guest guest
Let's hear it for the old mom's club. I have 2. My first is 11 today, and I had her three weeks short of my 30th birthday. My little boy will be 3 in July. I'm going to be 41 next month and I'm potty training!! Running around after an infant and having a pre-teen daughter at my age certainly contributes to the acceleration of gray hair, but hey, that's what Clairol is for!!! M. Guest guest
Me neither!! If I could have babies and go from infant to 5, and then skip to 18, I'd probably have 10 kids!! Re: Good doctor visit Hey I was thirty five when my youngest was born. Had a great time " growing up " with her because I had more time. So did her daddy. Enjoy them. They all grow up too soon. Now I am " growing up " with my grand kids. I may never " grow up " . Barb In Arlington [image] -- " I'll lean on you and you lean on me and we'll be okay.
