Guest guest
Jerry, That is beyond my knowledge. Here again if it helps, it contributes knowledge and that has to be good. PSP is very close to MSA as far as symptoms - it is caused by a difference source however. It may help MSA or PD also, who knows until they try. Guest guest
Hi Jerry, I had forgotten about that study, thanks for pointing it out. People can view it at: http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct/gui/c/w1b/action/GetStudy/screen/ResultScreen?o rder=1&xml_file_id=xmlfiles%2FWMCC__NCT00005903.xml%40csdb&JServSessionIdcs_ current=isdj1ti8hh If the above link doesn't work for you just go to http://clinicaltrials.gov/ and do a search on PSP This sounds very similar to the news item that was posted the other day from the UK regarding GDNF and Parkinson's Patients. See: http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/sci/tech/newsid_1935000/1935593.stm If it is found to help PSP then someone should approach the NIH to ask about a study with MSA.
