Guest guest
I am still in Kindred Hospital on morphine, antibiotics, multiple drugs, catheter and oxygen. However, today I was finally got to walk for the first time in 36 days. I managed to stand up and with a walker make it 18 feet. I was ecstatic. To add icing to the cake the doctor came in and checked my wound vac. For the first time since surgery we can see granulation and new tissue growth. This is the first sign real of healing. So I am on cloud nine today. Maybe I really will get to go home in a few weeks. Now the thing I need the most is a good hug. After 36 days long days on morphine and no sunshine, I just need to have some human contact so anyone coming into the medical center, please stop in and say hello! Davenport Kindred Hospital ext 5312 PS Thank all of you for your emails, phone calls and card. I am forever grateful. JD

Guest guest
Wow .... Nothing like a reality check to make me appreciate all the more what I do have, rather than whining about I might not... I'm sorry it's your misfortune that's made me think about this... Congratulations on your healing process coming along... May I ask, what on earth happened to cause you to be in the hospital so long? I may have missed out on a past post.... Hang in there, sending warm fuzzies your way!! http://www.eradain.com/apoplexy RE: Another Update on Davenport I am still in Kindred Hospital on morphine, antibiotics, multiple drugs, catheter and oxygen.
