" For who it was who so generously said this and more, I think the point was that these and other issues we encounter, pre and post, are not shallow for some of us at all. It is what we perceive it to be and not necessarily being the recipient of some conscious or unconscious attempt at manipulation. Pain is pain, in the eyes of the one perceiving it.
