Guest guest
and I guess it is a small thing but what's up with the tips of fingertips tingling -- like they are waking up from being asleep... all the tingling goes on above the last joint and it isn't 24/7 but it is more often than not. Is it just a " weird " thing or a " symptom " of something else? I did do a " search " on the med sites but found nothing. thnx again, ~denise

However, there could be other reasons. I read a long time ago on one of these lists that there CAN be neurological complications after WLS, but most people pooh- poohed that idea. Actually ANY surgery can cause those problems, esp if the nerves are somehow disturbed. Also, certain B vitamins deficiencies can cause neurological troubles AND, strange to say, too MUCH Vit B6 can cause or contribute to neuropathy and other nerve disease. Guest guest
Folks, Tingling in your fingers may be related to your computer use. You might have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome caused by keyboard use. Good luck Sue > Thank you all who had suggestions -- I'm not taking any new or different > medications and I did look-up the two I take with it mentioning nothing > about my fingers -- I have to go get my Iron tested again cuz it was to high > so I'm going to ask for a full B panel to rule out the vitamin B thing (a > good idea) I tend not to think it is a pinched nerve because it is both > hands equally and at the same time but it could be so with the B's ruled out > I'll research the pinched nerve thing.
