I would be curious to know how far post-op these patients were, and if they

plan on testing post-ops that are further than 5 years out to see if ghrelin

production begins again by the body's natural desire to repair itself.

Maybe, since 40,000 of these surgeries were performed last year, it will take

another 5 years for them to even consider testing long-termers, if the docs

are even aware of the bounceback effect. Could ghrelin production have

something to do with it? Hmm, food for thought (I know, it's always about

food).
