Oh, I'm so excited! Remember Kaylan Vialpando, from the YouTube clips, whose

rheumatoid arthritis cleared after explant?

On the eve of the explant October

Well, I went ahead and emailed her yesterday …Just have to share the

correspondence…

Hello Kaylan,

Congratulations on regaining your health and losing the RA diagnosis.

I wanted to thank you for posting your explant experience on YouTube.

I am active on a Group called Saline Support with over 2,000 members

/

In 2007, the SS group helped me understand the risks of implants, so I decided

NOT to have them following bilateral surgery for breast cancer. What a

blessing, the information was free to find when I went looking for it. SS helps

women learn about explant and detox options and try to stay current on which

surgeons are willing to do a thorough enblock explant.

What sites were especially informative for you?

I just wanted to thank you again for having the heart and courage to put your

story on YouTube to help others that are seeking information.

I hope you are continuing in good health.

May your life be blessed.

Sincerely,

M.

She wrote back…

Hi ,

I searched for studies and data though a variety of sources. While I found a few

implant support forums and the ladies stories interesting, I really wanted more

" proof " than just someone claiming to feel better. I was disappointed when there

was no hard evidence on these types of sites.

I found a study done by a couple of doctors but one doctor had retired and the

other had relocated, so I was never able to contact them. I visited with 6

plastic surgeons, a hormone dr, 2 RA drs, and an allergy dr on my quest for an

answer. I also read a ton of books.

In addition to the RA, I was having unidentified breast lumps (turned out my

cells were clumping together near the surface of the implant) and nipple

discharge of my right breast (gone after explant). I came to the conclusion that

even if there was only a 1% chance of the implants being the cause, I would take

the 1% hope.

Since I've been getting better, I thought it was important to have real proof

(IE: blood tests), to show other women, in case there were other women searching

for answers like I was. Since then, I've been contacted by several women who are

ill with implants. It makes me wonder how many women are out there and have no

idea what's really making them sick. It's tragic.

Maybe if we all speak up, we can increase the awareness of the potential dangers

and at least give women the right to make a truly informed decision rather than

just what the implant manufacturers tell them.

Thank you for your kind words. I am glad you decided against them so your body

could heal after the trauma you went though. I hope this email finds you in good

health.

Kaylan

So I wrote back just this morning….

Hi Kaylan,

I know how busy your life must be, so I was especially surprised and grateful

for your thorough and speedy response to my email. I'm a busy mom too.

I agree with you…increasing awareness gives women the chance to make a truly

informed choice before, or after implants.

I have gone ahead and shared the links to your YouTube clips with the

group and the BreastCancer2 support group with over 33,000

members. breastcancer2/ With the BC2

group, everyday there are survivors faced with the decision to implant or not.

I wanted to ask your permission… may I post your wonderful 3/25 email to the

groups (minus your email address if you prefer)?

IMHO, your experiences and perspectives are powerful learning tools for other

women.

Yes, thank you, I feel great these days. I'm active with riding, yoga, and

life. My youngest is 10 now, that's a nice stage.

I know how busy you are, so I won't be keeping up a correspondence, but I do

want to thank you again for all you do, in so many ways, to educate women

regarding wellness.

My parents were both raised in Burley. About 100 years ago, my grandmother went

up to the Sun Valley area every year for Campfire Girls Camp.

It's a small world.

Happy Saturday.

Cyber hugs of gratitude,

Just got her response…

Hi ,

Yes you have my permission to post, and thanks for asking. My youngest (twins)

are 10 as well! As you said, small world. :)

How cool is that? Way cool.

> Wouldn't it be impressive to put together home videos including clips from

'before' and 'after' the implants to document the process...Here I was so

active, here I was so sick, here I'm recovering from enblock explant surgery,

here I am feeling ever so much better.
