I think it's come to the list 6 times now, plus it's come to me

personally another 5 or 6 times.

I've placed moderation on the five folks who've sent them in so far

(none of their posts can reach the list unless I approve them) and

that has caught it at least another half dozen more times. So far

only the one that appeared to come from you has made it to the list

today so I think we're beating it. I've notified all the people a

couple times and told them how to remove the virus but I'm not sure

how they are doing with it.

People simply have to learn to get their virus checkers updated and

not to click on unknown attachments.

It would help us if people who post photos to the list could actually

state that in their emails and give the name of the file as well in

the email. For instance put something like this: " Attached is a

photo of ........ and the file is called Photoname.jpg "

I do mine when I come on and when I leave.

My computer man says they can slip in anytime and there are so many

they are difficult to keep up with. I had a wicked one slip in last year

in between up dates. Very big expense to get it cleaned and reloaded. $200

+.

No I do scan everyday to check for viruses, the virus scanner pops up

as soon as I log on. The updates are what come out weekly... the

files from the anti-virus software company... I can't update those

daily if they only come from the company weekly.
